NRBS Webinar Social with Brain

I was honored to offer a free webinar through the Northeast Region Biofeedback Society. Angelika Sadar, MA BCN BCB-HRV and I presented on December 8 from 12:00-1:00 PM EST.

For many of our school-aged clients, professionals collect qEEG data to enhance the neurofeedback training; however, this data can be utilized well beyond the application to neurofeedback to enhance other aspects of the child’s environment. More often than not, parents are principally concerned with academic performance when parents they an evaluation for their children and they look to psychologists for expertise that occasionally feels beyond their scope.

While this webinar targets neurofeedback providers and psychologists, it can also serve as a valuable opportunity for parents to begin to learn about how EEG data can inform your advocacy efforts.

We had a discussion about how we can use EEG data to further educational goals that parents have for their children. We used a case study to make clear what information you can provide in your reports to most aid families in their quest for a positive school experience and shared concrete advice that you can pass on to families to facilitate interactions with schools in regards to IEP and 504 plans. You can access a recording of the webinar here.
